NASA's Photographs
During this age of exploration, it's obvious to see that NASA takes as many pictures of it's finds as it can. These pictures can come from anywhere within our galaxy. While NASA records their findings, it's important to notice that they use massive amounts of time and energy to show us these photos. On NASA's website they have an "Astronomy Pic Of The Day" which is interesting because it will constantly be updated with new finds.

Expedition 53
Two days ago, NASA announced that it's International Space Station team is willing to invite those from our world to go on a trip thats out of this world. NASA has invited people to go on it's space station to take a trip around the Earth and capture photographs of our wonderful planet. The trip itself is to inspire both students and teachers to venture out into the great unknown and to share photos of their finds. The trip starts in the U.K. and ends back around to Canada.

Earth-like Planets
Recently, there have been discoveries about Earth like planets in our galaxy, from what I've noticed; scientists tend to find things like air and water on these planets, and while it's interesting to think about humans inhabiting another planet it's also scary to think of what could also be on that blue planet like ours. One thing I would find interesting is what is on these planets, like what plants and animals are on it and how we could use them to our survival and advantage. Another thing I sometimes think about is how many light years it would take and how long it would take for humans to adapt on these planets. One thing that has come to mind is this: what if humans aren't capable of living on other planets? How would we try to save our own if that was the case? While these thoughts linger through my mind, it's still a cool concept regardless.

NASA's Mission To Saturn
While it's ending it's final chapter on Saturn, the Cassini space craft spent 13 years studying Saturn and it's rings. The next mission for the Cassini space craft is to go beyond Saturn and what lies beyond our own solar system. The signal from Cassini's space craft lost its signal with NASA at 7:55 a.m. From what I have gathered from the article about Cassini on NASA's official website, Cassini will bring us more information about Saturn in the upcoming weeks.

NASA's Mission to Jupiter
Another one of NASA's mission has caught my eye, and that mission is Juno's mission to Jupiter. I find it interesting because since NASA has sent Juno out to discover more about the large red planet they have found auroras on the planet. I'm curious to know if other planets aside from just Earth and Jupiter have auroras as well. I have also found out that "Jupiter has the most powerful auroras in the solar system."; which in comparison makes Earth's own auroras look rather insignificant. While Earth's auroras are quite beautiful, I'm wondering if Jupiter's auroras are the same; both in color and size. I'm sure Jupiter's auroras would be much bigger but are they as colorful? From the picture I would infer that Jupiter's auroras are both a red and dark green in color, which is interesting compared to Earth's bright green and purple auroras. All in all though both planets have beautiful auroras and are exciting finds in the final frontier.

NASA's Works
While we all know NASA has multiple outlets on how to gain new information from what we find in space, it's interesting to see the new things that they have done recently. One of these things would be there "International Space Station", the thought of this is could be like the space station in 2001: A Space Odyssey. The thought of an international space station is cool to think about regardless; imagine going up out of Earth's atmosphere to see the Earth for what it really is. Or finding noises that have not come from our own Earth. It's chilling to think that we may not be the only ones in this universe that we live in. But if we are it would also become lonely since we would be the only ones out here.

More Theories
While there are multiple theories on how the universe was created, it's also interesting to hear it from a personal perspective. An example of this was when I was when I was talking to my boyfriend about creation a couple of weeks ago. Out of everyone I have met, I thought his take on how the universe was made the most interesting. While I'm not sure if this theory is a real theory or not it's still interesting to post about. In our discussion he told me he believed that the universe was ever expanding; like a rubber band but as it keeps expanding it will eventually snap back into nothing. Now when I heard this theory I was shaken to my core at the thought of it. If anything in this world is possible, that theory is is plausible as well. To think that everything we know about this world would be taken away in an instant. This thought also lingered with me for awhile, just because that it could happen at any given moment. Even though there are other theories in this world, his theory was the most soul shaking one I've heard yet.
